Ana is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

She studied her bachelor’s degree in ↗Pontificia Universidad Javeriana before continuing her education at the ↗Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel and the ↗University of Illinois at Chicago in the acclaimed MDes Basel, where she gratuated from in late 2025.

She also lived in Finland, where she attended Swedish-speaking ↗Åbo Akademi University, studying topics such as Comic-Making, Gender Studies and Research in design through interdisciplinary fields, an experience that sharpened her sensitivity in the arts. She speaks english, spanish and german.

Her work moves between intuition and development of systems, often guided by the feeling of enjoying the process of making (most of the time) fortunate mistakes.

Her practice runs across Operational & Logistics in design fields, graphic design, poster and web design, creative coding, publishing, speculative thinking, fashion and music.

In 2025, as part of her master’s thesis project, she developed →root a digital tool for live-making graphics that simply grow on the internet, the project was later published on ↗Slanted Publishers #47 on digital tools, later also featured for a special edition of the magazine in Slanted.

She has worked for big design studios in Colombia such as ↗LAVALENTINA.

Her interest lies not only in designing images but in constructing visual and conceptual environments where different practices can coexist and influence one another.Magdalenstrasse 19, 8050. Zürich, Switzerland.
